Privacy policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains how Justin Bellemare, mortgage broker (AMF certificate no. 277404) acting on behalf of Multi-Prêts Mortgages, collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information, in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

Information collected

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number, contact preference.
  • Project information: request type, target or current property, estimated value, mortgage balance, down payment, approximate income, debts and any other information you choose to provide.
  • Minimal technical data required for the site to function securely (for example, IP address to prevent abuse).
  • Only if you accept: browsing data collected by Google Analytics and the Meta pixel (see the Cookies section).

Purposes

  • Verifying your email address with a validation code.
  • Contacting you and analyzing your mortgage financing request.
  • With your consent, presenting your mortgage application to lenders to obtain financing offers.

Your information is never sold. The information you enter in our forms is never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Sharing with third parties

Your information may be shared, only when necessary, with: Multi-Prêts Mortgages; the lenders and mortgage insurers to which your application is submitted, with your consent; our technology providers (website hosting and email delivery), who are bound to keep it confidential; and Google and Meta Platforms, only for the browsing data described in the Cookies section and only if you accept. Some providers may store data outside Québec; where applicable, contractual measures ensure adequate protection.

Retention & security

Site forms are transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and are not stored in a public database. Information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by mortgage brokerage regulations.

Cookies

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept measurement and advertising cookies. None of these cookies are enabled before you agree, and declining has no effect on your access to the site.

If you accept, the site uses two tools:

  • Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, time spent, where visits come from, progress through forms). Google’s advertising signals are turned off: this data is used only to measure and improve the site.
  • The Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to measure the effectiveness of our ads and show them to people who may be interested.

These tools collect, among other things, the pages viewed, the time spent on each page, when forms are started, progressed and submitted, and technical data (IP address, browser, device). The information you enter in forms (name, contact details, financial information) is never shared with them. Google and Meta may process this data outside Québec, under their own privacy policies.

Your choice is stored in your browser for 13 months. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your information, have it corrected, withdraw your consent or request its deletion, subject to legal retention obligations.
